I went to the supermarket and bought some strawberries today. There are not so fresh, it must have been weeks before they could be put on the shelf for sale. But we have no choice here in the UAE. I also bought two dragon fruits day before. They looked reasonably fresh when I bought them, pity that I have to throw it to the bin when opened it. It is too bad that people here never taste really fresh fruits. Everything is imported. I really, miss mangoes from our mango trees. And others fresh fruits, of course.
